Hi friends,
As we enter into what feels like an extra-busy fall season, may we trust in the beautiful promise that God’s grace is all we need, for his power is greatest when we are weak (2 Corinthians 12:9, GNT). In fact, our weakness is what makes us powerful messengers of God’s healing love: we know first-hand, from our healing groups and our own hearts, how God uses our pain and loss to bring us closer to him.
That’s what Sheila Smith discovered after participating in her first healing group. “I’ve always been strong,” Sheila says, “but it’s a different kind of resiliency that I (found), leaning into God and releasing the pain and hurt and truly being free. When you’re walking in freedom, people can see it.”

Sheila went on to become a healing group facilitator because of the desire she has in common with all of us—to give people the tools to experience transformation and healing in God’s love. |

We’ll soon be sharing Sheila’s full story in a video that includes her daughter and her sister. The impact of trauma healing on entire families continues to bring glory to God for his restorative work--from generation to generation. |
