Hello, facilitator family!

This is an exciting season to be in Trauma Healing ministry together. First, the Anchored in Hope app-based program officially launches this fall in several new languages and with program revisions based on pilot feedback. The photo above is from our Anchored in Hope launch in India, where more than 220 leaders experienced a healing group and were inspired to bring the ministry to their communities across the country of 1.4 billion people. Stay tuned for more specific information on Anchored in Hope over the next few weeks, as the program is rolled out fully in the THI Mobile App. We will have a new web page and will be hosting online webinars with a program overview in Spanish, French, and English.

Next, we hope you will join us for our Stronger Together event in Nairobi this October! It's been five long years since our last global COP gathering, so we are all more than ready to connect with each other and be strengthened in our ministry. Whether you join online or in person, there's power in sharing and learning what God is doing. Learn more about joining us, below.

Testimony from the field

Praise God for this report sent to us from From Rasim K.:

“We are writing to you with great joy to share the wonderful news of our first Trauma Healing conference, which was successfully held on May 6th in Azerbaijan. This event has brought us immense excitement. Leaders from over 15 churches participated in the conference, and we were able to connect with many of them. We have also noticed a growing interest from churches that had not previously cooperated with us.

The special guests of the event were the General Secretary of the Kyrgyz Bible Society, Fedyanin Roman and his wife Albina. Their personal testimonies deeply moved the participants and became a turning point for many.

During the conference, we heard such inspiring feedback as: “I have been praying for this for years! I was waiting for this!” and “We have been praying for such an instrument for years; finally, we can start this in our church!”

Our team, and I personally as part of it, are experiencing great joy and enthusiasm. Our team members have already visited Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan twice. We aspire to expand our knowledge and serve people. Our plans include a special focus on serving those affected by war, widowed women, and youth.”

Prayer Requests

Please take a few moments to lift up these requests from your brothers and sisters in the THI Global Community of Practice:

  • Pray for Banyamulenge in the U.S. who are opening up to Trauma Healing and allowing themselves to grieve openly

  • Pray for my organization (Unbound Wings) that we flourish with unstuck and youth trauma healing

  • Pray for facilitators who are serving in critical region with a fragile security context

  • Pray for the victims of jihadist Fulani militia attacks and for the Christians in Nigeria, especially the Middle Belt and north

  • Pray for all involved with our GCOP event in Kenya, and for the upcoming regional COPs—for guidance in planning, for strengthening of existing and formation of new connections with each other, and for safe travels.

But I will bless the person who puts his trust in me. He is like a tree growing near a stream and sending out roots to the water. It is not afraid when hot weather comes, because its leaves stay green; it has no worries when there is no rain; it keeps on bearing fruit.
